• Sacramento County Bar Association Attorney Referral Service (ARS)
  To assist people who need legal advice by finding them an attorney. The attorney gives the client a one-half hour consultation for a fee of $25. The fee is forwarded to the ARS to sustain its work.

• Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California (VLSP)
  Free legal assistance on civil law matters for low income clients only. Clients must reside in Sacramento, Yolo, Placer or El Dorado counties. Legal services are provided by volunteer attorneys and paralegals who donate their time to help people in need.
